Haley receives Friend of the Expo Award at 34th Ohio Beef Expo

The 34th Ohio Beef Expo, hosted by the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association (OCA), was held March 17-20 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio. At this year’s event, Pam Haley of West Salem, Ohio was honored with the Friend of the Expo Award for her dedication and contributions to the Expo’s annual success.  The Ohio Beef Expo is the premier event for Ohio’s beef industry covering many facets of the beef world with seedstock shows and sales, a trade show, a competitive junior show and much more all in one place. 

Haley has been devoted to the success of the Ohio Beef Expo throughout the past decade. Her commitment of countless hours of planning, organizing and executing this event has been a key element in ensuring the vitality of the Expo for several years and continues to be present today. Haley’s dedication has been demonstrated as she has served as the Simmental breed representative, breeds chairman and Expo co-chairman. She has also served on the OCA board of directors since 2013.

Haley alongside her husband, Mike, and their two children operate Haley Farms in Wayne County. She has been around the beef industry her whole life, and her passion for the beef industry grew into her own operation where she currently manages a herd of 80 head of registered Simmental cattle.
