Jason Hoffman, along with his wife Kaycee, and children, Haxton, Kennedy, and Hayden manage Hoffman ranch in Thedford, Nebraska. Hoffman Ranch holds two annual production sales a year. The Hoffman breeding program utilizes the best proven genetics in both the Angus and Hereford breeds.
Shane Meier, along with his wife, Tonya, and sons, Mills and Mason, own and operate Meier Show Cattle. Shane grew up highly involved in the Hereford breed, and over the years they added crossbreds and steers to the mix. Shane found success in livestock judging and pursued an education at South Plains College. Over a decade ago, Shane and Tonya founded Battle of the Cattle, a prospect steer show series and in 2020 the Show Steer Junior National. Shane and Tonya have made the youth of our industry a priority in their lives.
Darla, along with her husband, Jeff, and son, Kane, run a Shorthorn/Shorthorn Plus cow-calf operation and Aegerter Marketing Services. This family has completed in national cattle shows across the country for more than 20 years.
Darla works for CCi Live as an online sales operator, while also participating in a variety of activities in the seedstock industry, including livestock photography and sale management.
Kane is Boviteq, Inc.’s national beef sales specialist. Kane graduated from Oklahoma State University in December of 2021 with a bachelor’s in animal science with a business option and a minor in ag real estate appraisal. He was a member of the competitive 2019-2020 OSU livestock judging team.
