JIRL BUCK

Jirl Buck grew up showing steers and heifers through 4-H and F.F.A. programs. He attended Murray State College and Oklahoma State University and began working for several top cattle producers. The experience motivated him to start a purebred breeding program called Buck Cattle Company. Jill, his wife Brenda, and daughter Bailey own and operate Buck Cattle Company in Madill, Oklahoma. They have production sales each March and October and private treaty sales throughout the year. Buck Cattle Company raises Maine-Anjou, Herefords, and Bucking Bulls, marketing 200 bulls and 300 females annually. Jirl has judged several cattle shows, including; American Royal, N.A.I.L.E., National Western Livestock Show, Fort Worth Livestock Show, Houston Stock Livestock Show, and numerous Junior National cattle shows and state fairs across the country.


BREEDING HEIFERS

ANDREW FOSTER

Andrew Foster along with his wife, Emily, and daughters Everly, Emerson, and Eleanor, own and operate Seldom Rest Farms where they raise registered Angus cattle. Their operation is based primarily on the sales of junior show heifer projects. Andrew grew up showing cattle on a state and national level and was extensively involved in the National Junior Angus Association where he served as NJAA Jr Board Vice-Chairman. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Animal Science, Andrew came home to partner in the family operation with his dad and uncle. In addition to being named the 2013 American Angus Association Herdsman of the year, Andrew and his family have built one of the most successful and well-known show programs in the nation. He has a true passion for working with the youth of the beef industry and has judged many shows on a state and national level.

SHOWMANSHIP

JOSH AND MARISSA STREITMATTER

Josh & Marissa grew up in Indiana showing competitively on both the state and national level. Both obtained Animal Science degrees from Purdue University and were members of the livestock judging team in 2014 and 2017, respectively. For many years, Josh was involved in his family’s cattle operation, Streitmatter Show Cattle. When Josh and Marissa were married and moved to pursue their careers, they decided to begin their own operation, Josh Streitmatter Cattle, focused on Chi, Maine, and Shorthorn based genetics. Now located in Boswell, IN Josh and Marissa hold an annual sale each September and follow the cattle throughout the show season. Aside from exhibiting cattle, they also judge many shows across the country.
