Schedule of Events


Saturday, March 17
8:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.
 Registration
9:00  a.m.
 Contest Instruction and Divide into Groups
4:30 p.m.
Presentation of Awards in Voinovich Building (Sale Ring 1)


  • - Cost: $5.00 per individual. Teams are $15 with pre-registering, or $20 registering on-site. No purchase orders accepted. Make checks payable to Ohio Cattlemen's Association (OCA). 
  • - Teams consist of 3 or 4 people, 3 highest scores count for team placing.
  • - Teams do not have to be from the same county or chapter.
  • - All coaches who provide self-address envelopes will be mailed results the week after the contest.
  • - All participants should bring a clip board and a sharpened, No. 2 pencil.
  • - Out-of-state teams and individuals are welcome to attend.


Lunch will be provided to all contestants after the contest.

Junior Division

 8 years - 13 years of age
Senior Division
 14 years - 18 years of age

Youth Activities Sponsorships


Youth Beef Quality Assurance Program

$300 sponsorships to support Youth Beef Quality Assurance Training at the Ohio Beef Expo are available. Sponsorship includes signage and sponsor comments during the BQA session to be held on Saturday.



Judging Contest Awards

Eight available at $200 each
A total of eight $200 sponsorships are available to support the Ohio Beef Expo Judging contest. Sponsors will receive recognition on signage displayed at the registration table on Saturday, and sponsors will have the opportunity to hang a banner in the arena (at the sponsor’s expense) the day of the contest.
